Northeast Collector sewage pumping station is being reconstructed in the capital. Bishkekvodokanal has already begun work, the organization said.
The station pumps wastewater from the northern part of the city to the treatment plant in Prigorodnoye village. Four new pumps will be installed at the facility, which will increase its productivity.
The need to increase the capacity of the station appeared after connection of Ak-Bosogo, Enesai new developments and the area bounded by Kokchetavskaya Street, Molodaya Gvardiya Boulevard, Saadayev Street and Manas Avenue to the network.
Bishkekvodokanal added that the pumping station has been operating since 1990 and it has never been reconstructed.
