The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed a decree appointing Zhanat Beishenov the Minister of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the President reported.
His candidacy, recommended by the Prime Minister Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev, was supported by deputies of the Parliament the day before.
In 2005-2007, he was the first deputy, and then the deputy minister.
Former head of the ministry Zhamshitbek Kalilov resigned in December 2018.
