The Government of Kyrgyzstan allocated 500,000 soms for the design of the Chingiz Aitmatov lecture hall in the building of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN). The decree was signed by the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev.
According to the document, the money was allocated from the reserve fund of the Prime Minister of Interregional Public Organization Kyrgyz Unity.
«The decision to assign this hall the name of the world-famous writer, public figure and statesman was made by the Academic Council of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia,» the government noted.
