Kyrgyz government to resume work of Anti-Corruption Council

The Government of Kyrgyzstan will resume work of the Anti-Corruption Council. The Information Support Department of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.

The Council will monitor and evaluate the implementation of anti-corruption measures and develop them.

The Chairman of the Council is the Prime Minister. Its structure will include the heads of some government agencies, representatives of civil society and business.

At the suggestion of representatives of civil society, business or government agencies, the Council will consider specific problems and targeted proposals for their elimination. Alternative civil society reports on the implementation of anti-corruption measures will be considered at its meetings.

The Anti-Corruption Council was created in 2015, but it did not work.

Popular
