A citizen of Kyrgyzstan died in Turkey. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed 24.kg news agency that, according to preliminary information, he committed suicide.
According to the ministry, the incident occurred in Izmir. The body was taken to the morgue. The police of Aydin province did not initiate criminal proceedings on the fact. The Foreign Affairs Ministry noted that the sister of the deceased was in Izmir.
Employees of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Istanbul prepare documents to deliver the body to the homeland.
About 15 bodies of Kyrgyz citizens are sent to Kyrgyzstan from Turkey annually.
