Bolot Suyumbaev to be dismissed as head of Economic Crimes Control Service

Bolot Suyumbaev, the Chairman of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes, will leave his post. Information was confirmed to 24.kg news agency in the government of Kyrgyzstan.

It is noted that the decision on his resignation will be made in the coming days. It is possible that Bolot Suyumbaev will leave office at his own request. He was already offered to leave the post voluntarily.

Recall, on April 16, Bolot Suyumbaev, by order of then prime minister Sapar Isakov, was appointed chairman of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes. Prior to that, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sooronbai Jeenbekov, removed him from the post of the Director of the Service for Analysis and Forecasting of National Security Risks of the State Committee for National Security. Some parliament deputies, including SDPK faction, were outraged by this personnel decision, considering it as a demarche of the head of the government.
