The trial of activist Mavlyan Askarbekov ended in Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek. Judge Emil Kaipov read out the verdict.
Mavlyan Askarbekov was found guilty of a public call for the forcible seizure of power.
«The court is critical about the testimony of Askarbekov as an attempt to escape punishment. In addition, the court is critical about the testimony of additional witnesses. However, taking into account the fact that the defendant is brought to criminal responsibility for the first time, the court sentences him to a fine of 500 calculated rates (50,000 soms — Note of 24.kg news agency),» said Emil Kaipov.
