The government of Kyrgyzstan calculated the cost of the preparation for the 3rd World Nomad Games. The Parliamentary Committee on Budget and Finance approved the estimate proposed by the Ministry of Finance.
The head of the department Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that the sources of financing have been determined. As the Ministry of Finance explained to 24.kg news agency, these are residual funds, budgeted for 2018.
Earlier it was reported that 10 million soms would be spent only on the reconstruction of the hippodrome in Cholpon-Ata. Now the government says that these funds, allocated from the budget, would be spent on preparation for games and events.
As the Ministry of Finance noted, it is planned to spend 306,300,000 soms on the 3rd World Nomad Games.
The 3rd World Nomad Games will be held on September 2 in Cholpon-Ata. Competitions in 36 national sports, in which about 3,000 athletes from 80 countries of the world are expected to take part, are planned. About 500 media representatives from 50 countries will cover the events.
