An industrial trade and logistics center will appear in Ak-Talaa rural area of At-Basha district of Naryn region. The decree on the allocation of 200 hectares of land for the center was signed by the Prime Minister Sapar Isakov.
The center will be built on the territory of Naryn free economic zone. This will contribute to the development of small and medium-sized enterprises and create 3,000 jobs.
The center will consist of trade, logistics and industrial zones. The creation of a logistics center is an important factor for the development of foreign economic relations and economic growth.
«The construction of the center exactly in Naryn region is caused by very favorable geographical location of the region. The region is located at the intersection of Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart-Kashgar international highway connecting the TRACECA countries (international cooperation program between the European Union and the partner countries for the Europe-Caucasus-Asia transport corridor) and the route through China, India, Pakistan (Karakorum highway) to the seaports of Pakistan, India, Iran. This allows the access to foreign markets of China, India, Pakistan, Iran, Turkmenistan and other countries, including use of sea routes,» the resolution says.
