Donors allocate $ 530,000 for consultations to develop feasibility studies for Karakol and Issyk-Kul airports. This question was raised by the deputy of the Parliament Dastan Bekeshev.

Parliament members consider the ratification of the letter of agreement between Kyrgyzstan and the International Development Association on a grant to improve the communication lines in Central Asia.

Dastan Bekeshev asked what $ 530,000 would be spent on. «Will all this money be spent on consultations or implementation of the project?» he asked the Minister of Transport and Roads.

Zhamshitbek Kalilov explained that the Trust Fund for Capacity Development in the Europe and Central Asia region approved the allocation of grant funds, which will be used to finance consulting services for the preparation of feasibility studies and technical projects for the modernization of the infrastructure of international airports Karakol and Issyk- Kul. Developers will be found through a tender.
