Kyrgyzstani becomes world champion in sambo

Kyrgyzstani won the World Sambo Championship. Official website of the International Sambo Federation reported.

The World Cup takes place on November 10-12 in Sochi (Russia) with the participation of athletes from 90 countries. On the first day, nine sets of awards were played — three in tournaments among men and women in sports sambo and three — in combat sambo.

National sambo wrestlers won two medals in combat sambo. In the weight category of 57 kilograms, Altynbek uulu Amanat took bronze, and in weight of 74 kg Raimkul uulu Beknazar won gold medal.
