Problems on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border reached the World Trade Organization. The Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Artem Novikov told journalists about this.
According to him, the situation on the border remains unchanged. The queue of cars does not reduce. There is also a mass of traffic before entering the KR.
«The Prime Minister of the KyrgyzRepublic made a statement in Tashkent, and we will wait for further developments. On November 10, the first consideration of our issue within the WTO was assigned. We also wait for the reaction from the Eurasian Economic Union and the Eurasian Economic Commission. But there was no answer to the letters. We are fraternal countries with Kazakhstan, and no one could assume that this situation will arise in the EEU. There are examples of positive proceedings at the WTO level, up to the payment of compensation,» Artem Novikov said.
He added that there are no problems on the Kyrgyz-Chinese border. There was a queue at the time of shift handover, but at the present time a large mass of traffic is not observed.
