Foreign terrorists recruiting Kyrgyz citizens detained

Foreign terrorists, who recruited and transported people to the Syrian-Iraqi zone of armed conflict, were detained in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the State National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

According to it, on October 31, during the counterterrorism measures to identify and suppress the channels for transportation of recruits of international terrorist organizations to the zones of armed conflicts, members of the international terrorist organization, citizens of one of the CIS countries, were detained in Bishkek.

It was found out that the detainees arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic in the beginning of October and were engaged in the recruitment and transfer of recruits to the Syrian-Iraqi zone of armed conflict as part of bandit groups.
