Electric Stations OJSC decided on the supplier of Kara-Keche coal for the capital heating plant, the company informed 24.kg news agency.
As a result of a tender conducted between Electric Stations JSC and the Partnership of Coal-mining Enterprises, headed by Kyrgyzkomur SE, a contract was signed for the delivery of 450,000 tons of coal from the Kara-Keche field to Bishkek’s thermal power station. The total amount of the contract was 1 billion 370 thousand soms.
Coal has already begun to be supplied to the heating plant. The schedule of deliveries is calculated for the entire heating period — until the end of March.
Recall, after the reconstruction, the Bishkek thermal power station will mainly use domestic fuel.
