Investors ready to finance construction of building of infectious hospital

South Korean investors are ready to invest more than $ 10 million in the construction of a new infectious body, the Ministry of Health reported.

According to the press center, a delegation from South Korea arrived in Kyrgyzstan. Today, on September 4, a bilateral meeting was held at the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In 2016, a memorandum of intent was signed to build a new infectious corps for 150 beds,» the chief doctor of the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital, Gulzhigit Aliev said. — The Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy and the Korean side have previously signed a quadripartite memorandum, where step-by-step measures are prescribed, and recently a tender was held and the winner was determined. Members of the delegation from the winning company will conduct medical, construction expertise.«

«If the decision is made to build a clinic, then construction will begin. This is credit, but the loan is low interest. As for the performers, the Koreans are among the best partners in providing and equipping medical institutions and are among the top three. If the construction does take place, we hope that a good clinic will be built. According to our calculations, $ 10 million was envisaged for its construction, but the Korean side is ready to increase the amount, because it wants to improve the material and technical base and strengthen the reception, resuscitation departments and laboratory services of the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital,» the head physician added.
