Kyrgyzstan receives more than $ 1 billion of immigrant remittances

During the first half of the year, migrants transferred $ 1 billion 90.3 million to Kyrgyzstan. Such data are provided by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.

It is noted that the inflow of remittances increases with each month. However, in June the growth slowed somewhat. The volume of transfers grew by only $ 2.4 million and amounted to $ 238.8 million.

Traditionally more than 90 percent of the transfers are in Russia. In June, $ 235.2 million was sent from this country to Kyrgyzstan. In the first half of the year, the income from migrants is estimated at $ 1 billion 69.7 million.

As for the transfer of funds from Kyrgyzstan, in six months they amounted to $ 191.9 million. Thus, the net inflow of funds from transfers is $ 898.4 million.
