Kazakhstan sent the first tranche of $ 41 million to Kyrgyzstan. This was reported Tengrinews.kz with reference to the press service of the Prime Minister of the RK.
As noted, the financial assistance allocated for the development of economic cooperation in the context of Eurasian integration will be directed to the modernization of the customs, veterinary, phytosanitary and quarantine services of
Kyrgyzstan.
Under the agreement between the governments of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the KR, signed in December 2016, Kazakhstan allocates $ 100 million. The technical assistance is directed to the implementation of the road map projects on the accession of Kyrgyzstan to the EEU Treaty.
“The assistance will allow the Kyrgyz Republic to adapt the economy of the country to the requirements of the EEU in a more short time,” the message says.
