Affected by natural disasters start getting concessional loans

The residents of Suzak, Uzgen and Chon-Alai districts of Kyrgyzstan, who suffered from natural disasters, started getting concessional loans. The State Mortgage Company confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.

According to its data, the maximum amount of loans will be 200,000 and 300,000 soms at 7 percent per annum.

«If an affected resident builds a house from scratch, then he is given a loan of 300,000 soms for 7 years. If one needs to repair a house — it is 200,000 soms for a period of 5 years,» the head of the press service of the State Mortgage Company, Zirek Asanova, told.

As she noted, to facilitate the issuance of money, a «Single Window» system was created for the victims, where all the necessary documents for getting a loan are accepted at one place.

The list of victims of natural disasters in these areas included more than 1,500 people, the head of the press service of the State Mortgage Company said.

Recall, in the spring of 2017, landslides, earthquakes, mudflows were recorded in Uzgen, Suzak and Chon-Alai districts, as a result of which people were killed, many were left without housing.
