Turkish mountaineer dies while climbing peak in Kyrgyzstan

A mountaineer from Turkey died while climbing a mountain in Kyrgyzstan near the border with China. Daily Sabah reported with reference to the representative of the mountaineering club of the athlete.

According to the deputy head of the club, 41-year-old mountaineer Hakan Coşkun died of a heart attack when coming down from 7,300-meter peak of the Tian Shan mountains.

The climber’s condition worsened at 6,300-meter mark.

Hakan Coşkun was married and had one child.
