Valentina Matviyenko to visit Kyrgyzstan

Following the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vladimir Volodin, the Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko will arrive in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Parliament informed 24.kg news agency.

It is noted that the visit is scheduled for July 2017. Speaker of the Parliament Chynybai Tursunbekov had previously met with Valentina Matvienko on the sidelines of the 21^st St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The sides discussed a wide range of issues, including the inter-parliamentary partnership of Kyrgyzstan and Russia as a whole, as well as within the IPA CIS. In addition, the participants exchanged views on the current state of bilateral relations.

It is expected that Valentina Matviyenko will take part in the international cultural and educational forum of CIS countries «Children of the Commonwealth». The event will be held from July 3 to July 6 on Issyk-Kul Lake shore.
