Residents of Osh region have the lowest income in Kyrgyzstan. Author of the national report on human development Rafkat Hasanov announced today at its presentation.
According to him, the highest level of human development is observed in Issyk-Kul region (above the country level), where HDI is 0.701. The lowest level of human development is in Naryn region- 0.634.
The long-livers are residents of Jalal-Abad region. The life expectancy index is 0.777. The lowest figure is in Naryn region — 0,737.
The most educated population is in Chui region. The index of the achieved level of education is 0,815; the lowest is in Jalal-Abad — 0,763.
Residents of Issyk-Kul region were recognized the richest. The index of their income is 0,589; the lowest is in Osh region — 0,443.
»Kyrgyzstan does not occupy the highest positions in the development ratings. We are left behind by Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Armenia. As for development in regions, the highest indicators are in Bishkek and Issyk-Kul region. This is thanks to the development of trade and tourism. It makes thinking about this," Rafkat Hasanov said.
