State debt of Kyrgyzstan increases by $ 59 million

State debt of Kyrgyzstan increased by other $ 59 million on the results of April. The Ministry of Finance of the country reported.

It was noted that as of April 30, the state debt was $ 4, 219, 47 billion (284, 814, 39 billion soms). Since the beginning of the year, it has grown by $ 154.03 million.

In January-April 2017, the state debt was 2.4 times higher than the country’s GDP.

The bulk of the debt is external loans — $ 3, 847, 68 billion, or 259, 718, 40 billion soms. Internal debt is estimated at $ 371, 79 million (25, 95, 99 billion soms).

Meanwhile, 2, 57.04 billion soms were spent on servicing the public debt in April, including 1,194 billion — on servicing the external debt and 863.04 million soms — on domestic debt servicing.
