Kyrgyzstan gets ready for Altai Civilization Forum

Kyrgyzstan is getting ready for Altai Civilization Forum, which will be held in Bishkek from July 20 to July 22.

Today, President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev received his Adviser Mira Karybaeva and listened to the information about the preparations for the conference «Altai civilization and related peoples of the Altaic language family.»

Mira Karybaeva told that prominent scientists (historians, archaeologists, anthropologists, linguists) from Europe and Asia, including Germany, Hungary, India, Russia, Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic, registered to participate in the forum. She added that the event is being prepared by the Ministry of Education and Science together with Muras Foundation for the Historical and Cultural Heritage of the People of Kyrgyzstan.

It is noted that the forum will become a new platform for discussing the results of scientific research on the basis of common Altaic language, ethnogenetic and historical-cultural ties.
