Eurasian Economic Forum to be held in capital of Armenia in late September

The Eurasian Economic Forum will be held in the capital of Armenia at the end of September. The website of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) reported.

A meeting of the organizing committee of the forum was held online, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Chairman of the EEC Council Mher Grigoryan.

The event, which will be held from September 30 to October 1 in Yerevan, is timed to coincide with the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and will be dedicated to the results of the ten-year functioning of the union, the prospects and priorities of its development.

The goal of the forum is to improve cooperation ties in the Eurasian space. It is planned that it will be attended by heads of large, medium and small businesses, government bodies of the union countries, as well as third countries, representatives of international organizations interested in development of cooperation with the EAEU.

The program consists of more than 30 events, including a plenary session with the participation of the heads of government of the EAEU on the topic «Digitalization in modern realities — an imperative for ensuring four freedoms.» During the discussions, experts from member states and third countries will discuss new areas of strategic development of the union.

The Eurasian Economic Forum is an annual business event of the EAEU in the economic sphere. It is held alternately in one of the states of the association.
