Athletes from Kyrgyzstan win 3 gold medals at competitions in Almaty

Track and field athletes from Kyrgyzstan won three gold medals at the championship in Kazakhstan, which ended yesterday in Almaty. Secretary General of the Track and Field Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic Ivan Shcherbakov informed 24.kg news agency.
According to him, more than 400 athletes from different regions of Kazakhstan participated in the competition. Our country was represented by four people, each of whom won at least one medal.
Tatyana Rybakova won two gold medals at distances of 200 and 400 meters. Kirill Sarasov (400 meters) also took the first place. In 200-meter race, Sarasov became the second, and Ilya Betyuk — the third. At a distance of 1,500 thousand meters, Mikhail Soloshenko took the second place. «We are satisfied with the result of our youth," Ivan Shcherbakov noted. «The nearest tournament will start on May 4 in Bishkek and will be dedicated to the World Athletics Day.»
