One more residential area in Bishkek supplied with gas

Ceremonial launch of gas distribution point took place today in Keramicheskiy residential area (near Dordoi market).

The mayor of Bishkek Albek Ibraimov and the head of Gazprom Kyrgyzstan LLC Bolot Abildayev took part in the ceremony.

As Abildayev noted, 360 households, where 1,600 people live, are supplied with gas in Keramicheskiy residential area. Works on gas supply in this area were started in September 2016 and completed in April 2017.

In general, following the results of 2016, Gazprom Kyrgyzstan company supplied ten residential areas of Bishkek with gas. In 2017, the company plans to gasify 15 residential areas in Bishkek and Chui region, where natural gas will be supplied to more than 20,000 households.

According to the company, until 2030 it plans to increase the gasification level of Kyrgyzstan from 20 percent to 62 and provide gas supply to more than 400 residential areas.
