After the bloody events in Ala-Too Square on April 7, capture of the White House by the oppositionists and the flight of President Kurmanbek Bakiyev from the capital, Bishkek immersed in the night of lawlessness and looting.

As stated then, the police were demoralized, and as a result, the townspeople and businessmen were left alone with crowds of outrageous thugs. First in the firing line were shopping centers and shops. Then everything and anything were robbed.

Bishkek woke up and horrified, in what can turn a city in just one night. For the incident, almost no one was punished. However, in March the GKNB again took up the case of looting and even arrested the former deputy Raikan Tologonov.
