President of Kyrgyzstan to stay in politics after resignation

The President of Kyrgyzstan once again stated that he would not run for the second term. Almazbek Atambayev told journalists at an improvised press conference.

«Although according to Gallup poll, my rating is almost 99 percent. And the leaders of other countries repeatedly told me to run for the second term," the head of state said.

But I will not do it, although I will stay in politics. But I will not be either a prime minister or a speaker. I will deal with my own party SDPK.
