Russian Embassy investigates circumstances of Grigory Mikhailov’s deportation

The Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan investigates all the circumstances of the deportation of a Russian citizen, journalist Grigory Mikhailov, from the country. Press secretary of the diplomatic mission Darya Pakhomova told 24.kg news agency.

The Embassy can not inform about its further actions. It also did not voice the exact dates when the diplomats will finish studying the situation with exclusion the chief editor of REGNUM agency Grigory Mikhailov from the country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs 24.kg news agency was asked to send a written request to receive a comment on the deportation of the journalist from the country.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan is not available for comment, although it previously promised to present its version of what happened this week.

Recall, the journalist by deceit was made to leave the territory of Kyrgyzstan on Friday evening. Grigory Mikhailov was no allowed to re-enter the country. He is in Almaty (Kazakhstan) now.
