Media: Omurbek Tekebayev met with Kurmanbek Bakiyev in Cyprus

The leader of the opposition party Ata Meken Omurbek Tekebayev met with the fugitive Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev in Cyprus, Haberler reported.

It is noted that Omurbek Tekebayev reportedly intends to organize internal disturbances to prevent the holding of the presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan. According to Turkish media reports, he asked for financial assistance from the fugitive Bakiyev for this purpose.

Earlier, it was reported that Omurbek Tekebayev flew to Cyprus, where fled from Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov lives. Tekebayev said that he was investigating the business of the president and received some information.
