100 trees planted in Park of Friendship of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan

A total of 100 birch trees have been planted in the Park of Friendship of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan in Bishkek, the City Hall reported.

According to the mayor, the tree survival rate in 2025 reached 86 percent, with only 14 percent of saplings failing to take root.

Currently, around 93,000 saplings are being grown in the municipal nursery. Since the start of the spring planting campaign, more than 9,000 trees have already been planted across the capital, and greening efforts continue in various districts.

In 2026, Bishkek City Hall plans to plant more than 20,000 trees.
