A criminal case has been opened in Bishkek following a dog attack on a minor, the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek reported.
The case has been registered under Article 134 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (Causing serious harm to health by negligence).
As part of the investigation, all necessary investigative and procedural measures will be carried out. Based on the results, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of those involved.
The investigation is ongoing.
As it was previously reported, six-year-old child was hospitalized in intensive care unit after being attacked by dogs in Kalys-Ordo residential area of Bishkek. The child underwent surgery and remains in the intensive care unit of Children’s Hospital No. 3. His condition is described as stable.
