Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan restores rights of 10 orphans

Prosecution authorities systematically conduct inspections and implement prosecutorial measures to protect the property and housing rights of children left without parental care.

Specifically, in Kadamdzhai district, two orphans were provided with land plots for housing construction, along with the necessary title documents.

In Jeti-Oguz district, it was established that a child’s inherited property had been illegally sold by relatives. Following the prosecutorial measures taken, the child’s property rights were restored.

In addition, in Jalal-Abad region, the rights of seven minors to priority housing were ensured—they were provided with land plots and housing, along with the necessary documents.

According to Article 13 of the Children’s Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and Article 43 of the Housing Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the state guarantees orphans the right to housing. Orphans without housing are entitled to priority housing upon reaching the age of 16, in accordance with the established legal procedure.

Prosecution authorities continue to work to protect the rights of orphans.
