The VII Tashkent International Marathon was held in Uzbekistan on April 13. The Athletics Federation of the Republic of Uzbekistan reported.
Ainuska Kalil kyzy won the half marathon race (1 hour 17 minutes 1 second).
Nursultan Keneshbekov took second place in the half marathon (1 hour 4 minutes 35 seconds).
Ilya Tyapkin took third place in the marathon (2 hours 24 minutes 44 seconds).
According to the organizers, about 11,500 people from 62 countries took part in the marathon — an absolute record in the entire history of its holding. At least 32 professional athletes from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Belarus, Kenya, Russia, Uzbekistan competed for victory.
