A nearly 100-kilogram Navruz cake has been baked in Samarkand.
The cake took first place at a gastronomic festival.
The gastronomic festival is a traditional event organized by Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, the administration of Samarkand region, and the Uzbekistan Chefs’ Union. Its goal is to promote the country’s culinary potential, foster international cooperation in gastronomic tourism, and attract more tourists by popularizing national culinary traditions.
