The volume of industrial production in the EAEU in January-September 2024 increased by 4.4 percent compared to the same period last year. The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) reported.
According to its data, the volume of production in the manufacturing industry increased, among other things, in:
- Electricity supply — by 7.7 percent;
- Gas, steam and air conditioning supply — by 3.6 percent;
- Water supply, sewerage system, control over waste collection and distribution — by 0.6 percent.
A decrease in production was recorded in the mining industry and quarrying — by 0.4 percent.
An increase in industrial production in the specified period was observed in all member states of the union:
- In Armenia — by 12.6 percent;
- In Belarus — by 6.4 percent;
- In Russia — by 4.4 percent;
- In Kyrgyzstan — by 4.2 percent;
- In Kazakhstan — by 3.1 percent.
