As of November 4, 2024, the volume of water in Toktogul reservoir reached 13.152 billion cubic meters, which exceeds the level of November 4, 2023. National Electric Networks of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
Compared to the same period in 2023, when the water volume was 11.850 billion cubic meters, the reserves increased by 1.3 billion cubic meters.
The increase in water volume this year is due to an increase in inflow. The current average daily inflow is 278 cubic meters per second, which is 91 cubic meters per second more than last year’s figure of 187 cubic meters per second.
At the same time, the outflow of water, on the contrary, has decreased. This year it is 251 cubic meters per second, while a year ago it was at the level of 264 cubic meters per second.
