Kyrgyzstani becomes world champion in Greco-Roman wrestling among youth

Kyrgyz wrestler Razzak Beishekeev won a gold medal at the world championship among athletes under 23 years old, which is held in Albania. The athlete competed in the weight category up to 67 kilograms and demonstrated confident wrestling at all stages of the competition. Razzak Beishekeev won the following victories:

  • 1/16 finals: Daniel Dayani (Albania) — Razzak Beishekeev — 1:10
  • 1/8 finals: Razzak Beishekeev — Farid Khalilov (Azerbaijan) — 4:1
  • 1/4 finals: Razzak Beishekeev — Haruto Yabe (Japan) — 9:0
  • 1/2 finals: Razzak Beishekeev — Arslanbek Salimov (Poland) — 10:0

In the final fight, he defeated Georgian wrestler Diego Chkhikvadze with a score 6:1 and won the world champion title.

Razzak Beishekeev is the 2021 World Cadet Champion, bronze medalist of the Asian Championship and the 2023 Asian Games.
