Kyrgyzstani Rustamzhan Kakharov won gold in the 65 kg weight category in the final of the World Youth Wrestling Championships in Jordan.
He started in the freestyle wrestling tournament and began with a victory over an athlete from Iran with a score 14:5, then defeated an opponent from Australia with a score 10:0.
In the quarterfinals, Rustamzhan Kakharov defeated a wrestler from Georgia (6:2), and in the semifinals, he won a fight against a Kazakhstani with a score 12:5.
In the final fight, he defeated a representative of Russia and won a gold medal.
