Olympics in Paris: President congratulates Zholaman Sharshenbekov on bronze

The President of Kyrgyzstan congratulated Zholaman Sharshenbekov on winning the bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Paris.

In a telephone conversation, he emphasized that winning bronze at the Olympic Games among athletes from all over the world is a great achievement.

«We watched each of your fights with bated breath, and all the people of Kyrgyzstan were with you at every moment of this difficult competition. The Olympics are a global event. You will participate in such events many more times and win many gold and silver medals,» the head of state said.

He wished Zholaman Sharshenbekov further success and emphasized that every athlete representing Kyrgyzstan on the world stage is an example of courage and perseverance for the younger generation.

Sadyr Japarov noted that the Kyrgyz people are eagerly awaiting the return of their hero to homeland to personally congratulate him on his well-deserved award.

Zholaman Sharshenbekov expressed gratitude to the President and all the people of Kyrgyzstan for the support that inspires him to new victories.

Recall, the Kyrgyzstani defeated Mehdi Mohsen Nejad from Iran in the fight for third place in Greco-Roman wrestling in the weight category up to 60 kilograms.
