At least 1,100 tons of gold ore were illegally taken out of Sarai-Sai field in Chatkal district of Jalal-Abad region. The press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reports.
According to it, it was transported using fictitious documents to Kara-Balta Mining Combine for the purpose of subsequent sale.
A criminal case was initiated. Three citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic were detained. They confessed and by the decision of the Pervomaisky District Court, two of the detainees were placed in the pre-trial detention center of the SCNS.
