Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) Kamchybek Tashiev met with members and coaches of the Greco-Roman, freestyle and women’s wrestling teams representing Kyrgyzstan at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Kamchybek Tashiev wished success to the wrestlers and emphasized that each of them deserves victory.
The head of the State Committee added that by order of President Sadyr Japarov, special attention is paid to each sport, appropriate conditions are created and all needs are met. He noted that the state pays special attention and provides full support to wrestling teams, as athletes always achieve high results.
For the first time in the history of the Kyrgyz Republic, its wrestlers secured ten berths at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
In total, Kyrgyzstan will be represented by 15 athletes.
