Kyrgyzstani Amantur Dzhumaev won a gold medal at the Asian Boxing Championship among athletes under 16, which takes place in Astana (Kazakhstan). The Boxing Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported on Instagram.
In the weight category up to 52 kilograms he defeated representatives of Chinese Taipei, Turkmenistan and Japan.
In the final, Amantur Dzhumaev defeated an athlete from Kazakhstan.
The day before, two more Kyrgyzstanis competed for gold — Arvaz Akhmad (up to 63 kilograms) and Dilerbek Sadirov (up to 57 kilograms). Unfortunately, both lost and won silver medals.
Ramazan Isaev (up to 66 kilograms) won a bronze medal.
