A teenager received a gunshot wound in a mass brawl in Kara-Balta city. Eyewitnesses of the incident informed 24.kg news agency.
The incident took place on October 25 at about 1 a.m. in the area of the so-called Sosnovsky turn.
The Main Department of Internal Affairs of Chui region told 24.kg news agency that the scuffle involved teenagers aged 16-18. One of the participants of the mass brawl fired a hunting rifle and wounded a 15-year-old boy in the knee. The victim was taken to the traumatology department of Zhayil district.
Police officers detained the participants of the brawl and took them to the Internal Affairs Department. A criminal case was opened under Article 280 «Hooliganism with the use of weapons» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The teenager who shot from a hunting rifle was identified. He turned out to be an 18-year-old resident of Alekseevka village. He was placed in a temporary detention center.
