Head of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) Kamchybek Tashiev made an appeal in connection with the mass brawl at Toloikon hippodrome in Osh region. He said that all those involved in the scuffles, including provocateurs, will be punished.
According to him, the game between Dostuk (Osh) and Yntymak (Talas) teams was turned into a scandal by some people.
«People succumbed to the actions of provocateurs and on emotions tried to organize riots. But we, the Kyrgyz, must be friendly and keep peace in the country. This is a sport, a game. Someone loses and someone wins. The losers should not succumb to emotions. I gave instructions to law enforcement and security officials. All videos made at the scene will be studied and measures will be taken against all participants of the riots within the law,» Kamchybek Tashiyev said.
He urged Kyrgyzstanis not to divide into regions.
«We should not divide and say: you are from Osh, Talas, Issyk-Kul ... We will punish those who try to undermine this friendship. Do not give in to provocateurs. The participants have already started to be taken to the police station. Those who violate the law will be brought to justice,» the SCNS head said.
Recall, the final of the Presidential Cup in Kok-Boru between Dostuk and Yntymak teams ended in riots in Osh region at Toloikon hippodrome. As a result, more than 100 people were injured.
