The state block of shares of Alfa Telecom CJSC was sold for 14.8 billion soms. This is reported on the electronic trading platform.
It is noted that there were only two participants at the auction. The starting cost of the company was 14.6 billion soms. It was sold with a minimum auction step of 200 million soms.
«Who participated in the auction and who acquired the state block of shares will be announced in about an hour,» the State Property Management Agency told 24.kg news agency.
Earlier it was noted that the State Development Bank will buy the state cellular service provider. For this purpose, it has significantly increased its capital and received shareholders’ consent to make major transactions with an aggregate value of more than 50 percent of the book value of the company’s assets to buy and sell state securities totaling 14,590.6 billion soms.
