Citizens of Kyrgyzstan presented their startup project in California. An entrepreneur Zhapar Usenov told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, TechCrunch Disrupt 2023 is held annually and gathers cutting-edge companies and influencers in the world of startups, investors and technologies.
«It was a real marathon of innovation and we, the WIOT Technologies team, could not help but use this opportunity to represent our country on the world stage. Our task was not only to present our product, but also to show that Kyrgyzstan can be an active participant on the global technology stage. There were more than 10,000 participants at the conference, representing different countries and continents. For the first time, the Kyrgyz Republic presented two startups, which is a breakthrough for our republic,» Zhapar Usenov told.
«Our project specializes in creating an innovative IoT platform for accounting and management of energy resources in business. We already cooperate with Dordoi, Alkan-Bazary, private energy distribution companies. We expect that government agencies will also soon realize the benefits of introduction advanced technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. One of our key products is an online system for monitoring water, gas and electricity costs. It not only helps companies to optimize their operating costs, but also contributes to sustainable development,» the entrepreneur told.
It is noted that a hackathon on artificial intelligence will be held in Bishkek in the near future.
