Deputies from Ishenim parliamentary faction heard information about the Cabinet’s readiness for the fall and winter period.
Energy Minister Taalaibek Ibrayev said that a substation would be built in Asman city, Issyk-Kul region. Its capacity will be 110 kilovolts, he said. Its construction has already begun.
The construction of Asman, according to preliminary estimates, will cost $20 billion. The area of the city will be 4,015 hectares; from 500,000 to 700,000 people will be able to live there. Asman is planned to be built on the area located between Toru-Aigyr rural area and Chyrpykty village.
