The Cabinet of Ministers approved regulation on Index of Public Confidence in the activities of the state executive authorities of Kyrgyzstan, Presidential Envoys to the regions, local state administrations and executive bodies of local government bodies. The decision was adopted at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
A model questionnaire for conducting a survey to assess the level of public confidence in the activities of state executive authorities was approved. In addition, the National Statistical Committee has been instructed to include in the statistical program for the next year the assessment of the level of public confidence in the activities of state executive bodies.
Based on the results of the survey, the National Statistical Committee should submit to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce an analytical note containing the results, problems, trends and recommendations for state bodies and executive bodies of local government.
Activities related to the survey to assess the level of trust of the population will be financed from the republican budget.
According to the results of the second half of 2022, Kyrgyzstanis named the Ministry of Health as the most corrupt government body. The National Statistical Committee cited such data with reference to the Public Confidence Index survey.
