The President of Kyrgyzstan signed a decree on holding the People’s Kurultai. Press service of the head of state reported.
Sadyr Japarov scheduled the People’s Kurultai in Bishkek for December 15.
The document says to approve the quota of 700 delegates of the kurultai and the provision on the organizing committee, to adopt a temporary regulation on the organizing committee for its holding and coordination of work on the election of delegates.
The organizing committee is charged with coordinating the selection of delegates to the People’s Kurultai, drafting its regulations on holding of the event and submitting them to the People’s Kurultai for approval. It may involve representatives of state bodies, local government bodies and experts in its activities in accordance with the established procedure.
The organization of the elections of delegates to the People’s Kurultai was entrusted to the Presidential Envoys to the regions, local state administrations, local government bodies, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Labor, Social Security and Migration, as well as the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan (by agreement).
